Okay, i'm going to say this once and once only to save myself a lot of repeating and a lot of annoyance.
1) Fan art is exactly that, Fan Art. Whether it be manipulations, drawings, or 100% originals.
2) My fan art pieces vary wildly in the amount of original work put into them, and in techniques and styles.
3) Walk into an art gallery and you can find manipulations of images put together in a way to get a message or idea across... or to enhance an image or idea in a certain way. It IS art, but as with all art... you get the haters and it's those comments that really annoy me. Live and let live?
4) You WILL find 100% original pieces in my gallery, and you WILL find everything in between. I highly doubt any artist who created concept art or original game artwork whose work was used in the fan art would be up in arms over my fan art. I do NOT sell them, I do NOT profit in any way or form, I do NOT claim to have drawn the concept or game art that I have used in my pieces
5) Use some common sense. Obviously if you are fans of games.. you will KNOW that something was original art work. If I was reposting the artwork "as-is" and then slapping my name on it... i'd happily cop all the crap anyone wants to throw at me as it would be well deserved. But I do NOT do that.
6) Please don't put comments on my art listing what you think I solely did with an image, as assumptions do things... usually involving an ass. You may be right about what I have done and you may be dead wrong.
And finally, just enjoy the images LOL I put a lot of work into them all and they are FREE in the full resolution they are created in. I don't dumb them down and keep the high res versions for myself.
For anyone who writes more stuff in my gallery about what is fan art, original art, etc for pieces that are clearly labelled as fan art... I will simply direct you to my main page as I don't want to spend my valuable spare time answering posts that in all honesty, some of them can be really insulting.
